Lymphedema of my left arm started shortly after my first breast cancer surgery in 1998. I struggled with the therapies, sleeves and treatments which never made any significant difference. Episodes of active cellulitis developed. My physician had heard of Jennifer from patients having better outcomes and gave me a referral. So with trepidation, I tried again. The door opened! Jennifer actually listened to my story. When she responded “I think I can make this better”, I cried. I have followed her, no matter which clinic she was working at. Lymphedema is chronic in my situation, requiring daily routines. She brings specialized expertise and applies several different techniques that allow me to do my activities. Last year, I had a small breast cancer reoccurrence, and chose bilateral mastectomies. With Jennifer‘s guidance, I have not developed any other difficulties. Actually, I feel better than ever. I am blessed to have Jennifer on my team, and she has become a dear friend!

In my many years of going to a number of physical therapists, Jennifer Butler is the best I have experience. Her knowledge, thoroughness, sympathy, and compassion is amazing!

Jennifer truly cares about your wellbeing and is one of the key reasons I can continue to do the things I love. She has taught me how to manage my post Mastectomy Lymphedema. Before being referred to Jennifer I was having range of motion issues on my right side after surgery and puffiness in my arm and hand. She has helped improve the range of motion and given me exercises to help combat the stiffness / aching side effects of the aromatase inhibitor I take. I have other non-cancer related hip and neck issues which have improved with strain / counter strain treatment. I love to be active outdoors biking, hiking, skiing and walking and will continue to do these things because of the treatment I receive from her.

Butler Physical Therapy has helped me handle several issues concerning my arthritis, vascular pain and swelling. When surgery was not possible, I was referred to Physical Therapy to help manage the swelling and pain. Jennifer Butler was my therapist and used "Strain Counterstrain" treatment. The help was amazing! My relief from severe pain and swelling made it possible for me to get about so much easier. PT is not a cure, but it helps me deal with my mobility issues daily.

Jennifer Butler has treated my upper extremity lymphedema for the past fifteen years. My condition is very complicated since my lymphedema is bilateral and the result of breast cancer treatment and radiation. Jennifer is the BEST!

Jennifer Butler has treated me for the past fourteen years for several skeletal/arthritic conditions involving my lower back, shoulders, and neck. Her treatment and skills have given me much physical comfort over the years. I give her my highest marks for skill, up to date techniques and personal attention. Jennifer is the best Physical Therapist that has treated me.

After more than 3 years of suffering with extremely painful facial symptoms and visiting more than ½ dozen medical doctors many times, without receiving any definitive diagnosis or significant relief, one day, a friend of mine mentioned that she had experienced very positive results from a local physical therapist who worked fairly close to our home. The name of this Physical Therapist is Jennifer Butler and I immediately requested that my primary care doctor provide me with a referral to see Jennifer, which he was happy to do. I have now been seeing Jennifer on a more or less weekly basis for about 5 months, since November 2023, and she has honestly given me more relief in those several months than all of those other medical providers combined. My experience with Jennifer has been wonderful, primarily due to her compassionate empathy and knowledge of the techniques she employs, but also due to her sweet sense of humor and obvious spiritual background. We have a special needs son whom Jennifer has welcomed completely during my visits and she has also allowed my retired Emergency Medicine and Family Practice physician husband to watch her treatments. Even though he describes Jennifer’s methods as “unorthodox”, he has been extremely impressed and grateful for the new found relief that I am finally enjoying thanks to Jennifer’s influence in my life. I HIGHLY recommend anyone who is frustrated with being unable to find relief through “traditional” medical techniques to make an appointment with Jennifer. She has truly made outstandingly positive changes in my symptoms.
